David Plotkin – The Journey
I don’t know how many CCM fans we have around here, but if you are one of them, then go ahead and check out David Plotkin, who has come out with a 17 track album titled “The Journey”, based on his search for answers when his son was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer.

I just finished listening to this CD. I got my copy at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, where David’s son was treated. Like Max, my son was also diagnosed with a rare, aggressive form of cancer that was in the late stages. He was only 6 when he was diagnosed. He was declared in remission this past summer, but we know our journey is not over and the war will never be forgotten. I felt like David was singing just to me and my son. It is an amazing feeling when you hear your own emotions put into the words you could not speak. My son and I will pray for Max, David and their entire family as so many have prayed for us. This is an amazing CD!!!
