Anberlin To Re-Release New Surrender W/ Bonuses
According to Anberlin’s website, they will be releasing the Deluxe Edition of New Surrender.
Although I prefer DE’s to be released at the same time, there are quite a few goodies, including:
New artwork
New photos
B-sides
Covers
26 minute DVD documentary of their Australian tour
Feel Good Drag music video
Live video of Breaking from Soundwave
Acoustic version of Feel Good Drag

man i wanted a new record, not a re-release! but i guess this is better than nothing…it all depends on how many b-sides and if they are ones that have already been released in previous records.

don’t worry, i’m betting on a new fall release :) i think the b sides are from all the different new surrender versions that were out there

Sounds good… oh wait, did they write all new songs to replace the duds this album is filled with? Sounds like a label ploy once again… I will not be supporting this release either.

i’ll probably wait to see if i can get it at an affordable price at some point in the future :) i just kinda like band dvd’s/live shows.
i watched the emery dvd of IOAM this week…still need to finish the documentary from the question…and still need to watch the live shows from blindside’s 10 years running blind

I still need to watch the Thrice DVD which I never did and I need to watch the Skillet DVD which I never did. Lame play by me.

It’s just plain weird that their label is releasing “True Faith” as the next radio single. That’s part of the reason for this re-release they are pushing on us.

follow the money haha…and i find it weird that the two singles that i know of from this album are a cover and an old song…even the label didnt like new surrender that much i guess? i still vote cities as their best
November 5, 2009 at 1:26 pm
I agree Tyler, Cities was definitely their best album. Even my wife agree with that statement.

I love the “even my wife” argument…I use it all the time now hahaha :)
