Hillsong Live – We Have A Savior (Amazon MP3)

When I think of Christmas I think of snow, cold, and a warm fire in the fireplace. And that’s what I think about when I hear this Christmas album from Australia’s Hillsong Live. Though, I’m fairly certain they don’t have snow or cold during Christmas time. Hailing from the land down under Hillsong Live is releasing their first Christmas record in over 7 years, We Have A Savior.

Hillsong Live has become a popular worship band with songs like “Shout To The Lord”, “Inside Out”, and “Mighty To Save”. We Have A Savior includes Hillsong Live’s popular “Born Is The King”, which was released to radio last year. It also includes upbeat versions of “O’ Come Let Us Adore Him” followed by their spin on the popular song, “Joy To The World”, and “Born Is The King (It’s Christmas)”. Also included in this Christmas CD are “O Holy Night”, “Hark The Herald Angels”, “Gloria (Angels We Have Heard On High)”, and “The First Noel (Holy Is The Lord). Songs on here that are new are: “We Have A Saviour”, “Unto Us”, and “Our King Has Come”.

Bringing their worshipful tone to We Have A Savior, Hillsong United delivered on a great Christmas album. This CD will be sure to get you into the Christmas mood while still focusing on the true meaning of Christmas, and that is Jesus Christ.
