My thoughts exactly, on the tour. I’ve heard rumors about this for about a week, but it’s still reeeeeeally weird for me, as someone who grew up on those bands. My. Brain. Hurts. Is it just me, or is 90s CCM making a hybrid comeback of sorts?

Wow, this has been a rumor for a while, so its good that we have it confirmed. Honestly, I was never a big fan of Audio A, so I was not that heartbroken to see the leave. However, I like Kevin’s voice and am excited to hear the new sound. It bugs me when artists say they are done, release “last” projects and go on tours, and then return a few years later.

I don’t like comebacks when I’ve already mourned the loss, and moved onto other music.

he did sing on a couple of their songs, but yea that was obviously an april fool’s joke.
I don’t know, I have a really hard time when bands change lead singers. I like Michael Tait and the Newsboys, but NOT Michael Tait IN the Newsboys, I don’t know how I will feel about this Kevin Max in Audio A thing….I don’t do well with change…ha
I think this is the closest we’ll come to seeing a dc Talk reunion.
My goodness! Audio A took FOREVER to finally finish, and now they’re back! They should have just renamed the project and gone from there. But it could work out…..
For me, I’m just gonna wait and listen to the first single when it releases; and then judge from there! It certainly is an interesting band. Whether they should keep the name of ‘Audio Adrenaline’ or not is another story; but I am still intrigued!

I enjoyed the early days of Audio Adrenaline (lost interest toward the end except for Until My Heart Caves In)
Kevin Max was my favorite member of DC Talk and has always been one of my favorite vocalists…however his solo stuff was….weird.
The fact that Kevin Max is back…in a “rock” band…excites me for sure.
The fact that they are calling themselves “Audio Adrenaline” annoys me. A band can change drummers…a band can even change guitarists…but when a band gets a new lead singer…especially one that sounds nothing like their original singer….THEY ARE A NEW BAND! Newsboys…Underoath…Decyfer Down…Van Halen (ha, threw that one in there)

They haven’t just brought in a new lead signer. Everyone is new with the exception of Will McGinniss. This could be a great band, but its not Audio Adrenaline.

I agree w/ David. Though Mark’s vocals were some of the best of CCM 90s (KMax, not so much) if it only takes 1 member to resurrect an old band – for AA it had to be Will.
And let’s not kid ourselves here, the $$$ and the top notch team of song writers behind this will definitely create killer radio songs. But I doubt it will sound anything like old AA.
