Pillar’s Rob Beckley To Release Solo Album In March!

I’ll be looking forward to this. Though now I’m wondering how long it’ll be till another Pillar album. The record label sounds interesting, I wonder how that’s gonna work.
I mean this in the nicest way possible, but isn’t Rob pretty much Pillar anyways? The guy with the dreads has been with him for awhile, but the other two were kinda noobs. I’m hoping that musically it’s a bit of a different take than the last 4 pillar albums – those things all pretty much sounded the same… Thruthfully though, high hopes for him!

How many bands lead singers are releasing solo stuff this year? geez
all of them! haha. hawk nelson, pillar, anberlin, delirious?…there are more, but im sleepy and cant think haha
Theissen needs to release some solo stuff after the new RK record is out. There should also be a “My Other Band Vol 2″.
I don’t know that he can do any wrong, as I have loved each new Pillar album more than the last, minus FTLOTG, looking forward to this and new Pillar!
What…? FTLOTG was one of their best albums, IMHO.
Anyways, does this mean that the band is not going to continue making albums? Has anyone heard any news about their next album? To hear that he’s releasing his solo album makes me nervous that the band broke up.
they didnt announce anything as a band, but i wouldnt get your hopes up
Last I heard they were just on a hiatus to spend more time with family. A while back they made a “thanks for all the years of support” post on their Facebook and had to make another one later assuring everyone they weren’t breaking up lol so I expect they’re still around and plan to do something after the solo project unless things have changed.
