Question of the Week: Best Music For A Road Trip?

road trip

Here’s the situation, you guys.

You’re going across the country on a road trip with your three best friends. Rebecca Black chose the front seat and you got two other cool people in the back seat.

You’re going to be spending a lot of time together and a road trip without a group sing along, rocking out together, is not a road trip worth remembering.

What’s on your playlist? Go.

Well, I guess we start the party with “Friday”.

  2. Crank up Blood and Water’s ‘In Character’, Jesus Freak Hideout’s Summer Sampler, and IVM’s Punk Never Dies…put it on shuffle and make sure that bass is turned up! :D

  3. I usually shuffle through Family Force 5 and Tobymac/ dc Talk. Maybe some For Today or The Almost, but not a whole lot of them.

  4. Well, it would be mostly heavy Christian stuff. I only have 2 friends who really share my interest in music, and I am sort of the crossover between them. One listens to almost all Christian music, like I do, while the other only listens to Christian music that’s heavy. So we’d have a lot of Underoath, The Devil Wears Prada, and the like going. I’d probably try to force some The Classic Crime, Anberlin, and House of Heroes in as well, but it would mostly be loud.

  5. I think Safe Haven’s new album Chasing The Sun would be really good for a car trip.

  6. If nobody else got a say, it would be Demon Hunter (that’s been my answer to just about all of these questions). But since none of my friends are fans of hardcore, the first thing that comes to mind is the Classic crime, Thousand Foot Krutch would also be great. Just anything that would be fun sing along to.

  7. i think Switchfoot’s Hello Hurricane deserves a listen or two, maybe some Needtobreathe and some Sam Roberts. :)

  8. group 1 crew, beckah shae, britt nicole, superchick, fireflight, kutless, building 429, mani drive- those would all be good too!
