Earlier this year Trip Lee released his 4th album, The Good Life, which turned out to be one of the best hip hop albums of 2012. Now according to his new mini-documentary, ““Recently I decided to step away from music. Not cause I don’t love it – but so I can transition to where the Lord is calling me next. So I won’t be in other countries and in front of thousands of people every night, but that does not mean that I stop living The Good Life. I plan to keep living by faith in the good God til the day that I die.”
Also, according to his twitter this year’s Unashamed Tour will probably be his last.
Lets continue to pray for him as the Lord leads him to his next calling and hope that someday we can hear more music from the man who once released his debut album on Reach Records a few days after his high school graduation.
We’ll update this page as soon as Reach Records or Trip Lee gives out an official statement.

Dang, I recently just discovered Lecrae and the Reach Records crew, Trip Lee being my second favorite. I just purchased “The Good Life” and really enjoy it, I support him any his future calling but the music world will truly miss him and his message.
Major bummer, i liked the good life and he gave one of the best interviews CMZ has ever had
