Looking at my revised list of WOW Hits 2013, as well as these songs that could’ve been on WOW Hits 2013 but didn’t, this goes to show that WOW Hits 2013 does not offer the best of the year’s melodies!!

Boa lista concordo plenamente com você. Good list

  2. I don’t suppose that they offer anything like this for fans of heavier Christian music, do they? I can think of numerous times a heavier band writes a passionate, Christian song, but I doubt they ever make it onto these things, so one to support those bands would be nice.

    • isn’t that X the hits? even those can be biased to ‘softer rock’…

      • I’ve never heard of it, nor did an Internet search find something by that title.

        • Keith Fillmore // August 3, 2012 at 4:06 pm // Reply

Look up “X 2012: Christian Rock Hits” dude with the weird name.

          • Ehh, it’s iffy. It’s basically a bunch of rock bands, plus an obligatory nod to Demon Hunter and Underoath, whenever one of them (or both) has a new album out. They mostly ignore heavy bands.

          • X started off awesome with a double disc CD and DVD. Then with the second installment they shortened it to one disc for the CD. Then a couple years ago they stopped doing the DVD. And it feels like their music selection is always getting softer and older. =( course they were never like metal or anything. I don’t think there’s ever been a series for that.

  3. Do the Wow albums base the songs off of sales, or just big songs that EMI likes?

  4. I’ve always wondered this – Why do they call it the biggest songs of 2013, when we have not even seen 1 day of that year yet?

  5. Some songs were only released a month ago!
Where is “Remind Me Who I Am” by Jason Gray anyway? Where’s the City Harmonic? Where’s “Let Me Rediscover You” by downhere? What about Adam Cappa? Where’s Switchfoot’s “Afterlife?”
    They’ve gotta be kidding me!
Sorry to offend some of you guys but tobyMac’s Me Without You was pretty uncreative and Overcome by Jeremy Camp was just dry and draggy!

  6. No Phil Wickham on this list? Relevance lost.

  7. At least they’ve got that new Skillet song – which, in 2013 will be 4 and a half years old…lol

    • yeah, I don’t know why they didn’t just do away with Skillet and Sanctus Real all together (not the those some’s aren’t good, it’s just that they’re not timely…)

    • Sarah Beth // August 4, 2012 at 4:12 pm // Reply

Don’t get me wrong, I do like Skillet, but it’s getting to the point where every slower song of theirs sounds exactly the same.

  8. If you want to read an early review of the album, check out the review at indievisionmusic! http://www.indievisionmusic.com/2012/08/04/wow-hits-2013-wow/

  9. Lindsay McCaul – You Never Change was missed out.

    • was that a single? i thought it was her song ‘Say My Name’. Regardless, maybe they’re ‘reserving’ her for WOW Worship- you know they only place certain artists on Worship and others on Hits…

  10. Lincon Brewster –

    My God
    Everlasting God

    • Joshua Andre // October 14, 2012 at 10:43 pm // Reply

ummm, both ‘My God’ and ‘Everlasting God’ are not that new… but yeah Lincoln Brewster was definitely sorely missed! Surely “Shout For Joy” should have been discussed about…

  11. I wish Peter Furler “I’m Alive” was on the 2013 disc.

  12. Jesus Culture- Rooftops.
That would be AMAZING if that was on this cd.
    other than that PERFECT.

  13. I am making Wow Worship CD track
